Along Ebeltoftvej, as a neighbor of the sustainable village of Friland, Restaurant Moment opened on May 1, 2016 with a completely specific approach to the ingredients, the restaurant tries to give each guest the greatest taste experience that can be obtained from fresh and sustainable vegetables and herbs.
As a guest you can choose between menus with a different number of servings and corresponding drinking menus, as shown on the website.
Their gastronomy is based on cooking from the bottom of the season's raw materials, whining butter, jam, salt and fermentation based on what the restaurant can get in the surrounding area. They are strongly focused on what they have between the hands of the local areas, and therefore, dishes may change and completely change from day to day.
On the drinking side, they serve both exquisite natural wines produced as clean as possible and self-produced beverages of ancient fermentation cultures.
The serving is personal and relaxed in aesthetic and atmospheric setting. In summer, outdoor seating is offered in the production garden, where guests are surrounded by the vegetables that end up on the plate.
Restaurant Moment has been admitted to the White Guide and White Guide Nordic one year after opening and in 2019 the restaurant received the Michelin price, Bib, Inspectors’ favourites for good value.
